Youth & Women Empowerment

Empowering youths and women is key to building resilient and inclusive communities. Yet in many indigenous areas of Bangladesh, young people and women face barriers such as limited access to education, economic opportunities, and decision-making platforms. Without support, their potential often remains untapped.

At Green Milieu, we work to change this by creating programs that develop skills, confidence, and leadership. Through workshops on emotional intelligence, leadership, and life skills, we equip youths to take active roles in their communities. Our initiatives also encourage women and girls to participate in decision-making, showcase their talents, and pursue innovative solutions for social and environmental challenges. By fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration, we aim to give both women and young people the tools to shape their future.

However, challenges remain. Cultural norms, economic hardship, and lack of access to platforms for growth continue to limit participation. Without targeted efforts, the voices of these communities risk being unheard.
