Artivism for Peace 2.0: A Journey of Creativity in Bandarban
Artivism for Peace 2.0 was recently held at Bandarban Cantonment Public School and College, organized by Green Milieu in collaboration with the Kashful Foundation. This workshop offered a unique platform where art and activism intersected to engage and inspire students.
Twenty students participated, exploring themes of peace and identity through drawing, sketching, and painting. Each brushstroke and line became a medium for expressing ideas, emotions, and aspirations for a more harmonious world.
The workshop went beyond teaching visual art techniques; it encouraged students to reflect on the transformative power of creativity as a tool for social change. By channeling their imagination, they learned that peace is not only an ideal but also a practice that can be nurtured through dialogue, expression, and shared creative experiences.
Set against the hills of Bandarban, Artivism for Peace 2.0 demonstrated that when young people are given the opportunity to express themselves, their creativity can become a powerful force for hope and positive change.
