Bu Wye Marma serves as Green Milieu’s Women & Social Welfare Secretary, leading programs that bring indigenous women into the heart of community decision-making. Her work bridges traditional knowledge with modern advocacy, opening pathways for women across the Hill Tracts to lead, learn, and earn on their own terms.

Over the past three years she has organized awareness drives on health, education, and rights; trained dozens of young volunteers; and partnered with village elders to launch culturally rooted welfare initiatives. She believes durable change begins when every voice in a community is heard.
